We put our pants on just like you - one leg at at time. We are what we call "retail friendly" We take a lot of pride
in helping folks who have the guts to tackle such a large and often intimidating job as roofing their own home.
"Do you guys install roofing?"
No we do not, but we have qualified roofing contractors who are our customers and we will gladly get you in touch
with one of them.
"Do you have roofing materials actually in stock?"
I can tell you this: we have a two acre yard that is full of composition roofing material. Check out the picture. We
try our best to keep a reasonable amount of the most popular roofing materials in stock. This means that chances
are very good we will have the product you want in the quantity you need available for immediate delivery. Since
metal roofing is custom ordered for your specific application, it is special ordered and normally takes 1 – 2 weeks. If
in doubt, your best bet is to contact us either via phone (775) 782-ROOF, or email us .
"Do you do takeoffs on plans?"
Sure, we are more than happy to check your plans for you and give you a material list.
"How much notice is needed for a delivery?"
Quite often we can do it the same day as ordered. Other times it is 1-2 days. As long as we have what you want in
stock, delivery normally isn’t a problem.
"Why hire a professional?"
Installing a new roof, replacing an existing roof or simply making roof repairs are all projects for a professional. In
addition to owning the proper equipment, professional roofing contractors are also experienced at working in a
variety of roofing situations, such as steeply pitched roofs. Professionals can also make recommendations about
which shingles will perform best and which colors will complement your home's appearance. Here at SSBM, we supply

- Recently, we have started to sell used building materials, thus the reason for our name change from Silver
State Roofing Materials to Silver State Building Materials. This better reflects the nature of our business.
